GET TO KNOW ARSANY.

My name is Arsany, I was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt and at the age of 17 I moved to the US. After finishing high school, I started my college career at Clemson University where I pursued my degree in Mechanical Engineering. Little did I know, that one hour away from Clemson was BMW plant Spartanburg, one of the largest BMW plants around the world, producing approximately 1,500 vehicles a day.

During my time in college, I completed three internships at BMW plant Spartanburg, where I got to experience different areas in the automotive industry such as assembly, R&D and Engineering.

After my college graduation, I started my full-time journey with BMW where I joined a leadership development programme consisting of three different assignments in a 2-year period. During this time, I got to experience different departments of the business and expanded my knowledge and network.

Upon completing the programme, I accepted a position as an Electrics/Electronics Engineer where we test and validate future software releases to ensure that our vehicles are customer ready.

BMW has been such a special journey for me personally and professionally. I am always excited to collaborate with diverse teams and work with colleagues from all over the world.

In my free time, I like to watch and play soccer, my favorite team is Liverpool FC. I also own a woodworking shop where I enjoy creating quality and unique innovative crafts.

My personal motto is “Be the change you want to see in the world”. This is why I am part of a team at plant Spartanburg aiming to make our plant more sustainable by reducing single use plastic.
