After completing your vocational training in our BMW Group plants, you will be given a permanent contract and have an ideal start in your career!

We appreciate the performance and commitment of our talents and would like to give you something back. Therefore, as an apprentice and dual student, we offer you, in addition to a high basic salary, vacation and Christmas bonuses, with supplementary pension as well. From the second year of apprenticeship onwards, we also allow you to have a part in the company’s success by profit-sharing – given that our company goals have been met. As a dual student, you will also receive a housing allowance if your university is located in a different city than your place of work at the BMW Group.

For you as an apprentice, the joy of driving starts from the very first day! Because with us, you can rent or buy your dream car in particularly favourable conditions. The specific vehicle offers, and the running times vary from year to year, but we usually have the models of the 1 and 2 series offered!

Are you new to the city or would you like to move into your own flat when you start your apprenticeship? We offer our own hall of residence at the Munich location. Here you have the opportunity (subject to availability) to live in a flat at a reasonable price during your apprenticeship. These are close to your place of work and the city centre is within easy reach. This way, you can enjoy beautiful Munich to the fullest in your free time! As a dual student, you will also receive financial support from us. If your university is located in a different city than your place of work at the BMW Group, you can look forward to a housing allowance of up to EUR 300!

Do you have a long commute distance to work, or do you have to commute between different plant locations? No problem! With our extensive work bus system, we offer you an inexpensive and, above all, easy way to cover these distances at some of our work locations!

All apprentices and dual students* who travel to work by public transport receive a free "Deutschlandticket". In addition, your trips to your vocational school are subsidised – so you don't have to worry about high expenses and can enjoy your training to the fullest. Our dual students have to pay higher travel costs if their university is in a different city than their place of work at the BMW Group – which is why we also support them with a travel allowance in this case.

In some technical professions, you may switch to shift work after completing your apprenticeship – you may for example work the early shift and the late shift. Flexible scheduling also allows you to take time off in the shift work model which means you can sleep in, or finish work earlier than others. You also receive financial supplements for certain shifts.

In this way, you will be optimally prepared for Work 4.0, and we optimally cover topics such as networking and location independence as an important driver of digitisation. Fun and productivity are always guaranteed!

Boredom? No chance – as an apprentice, you can always expect new challenges and exciting tasks in your projects – regardless of which apprenticeship you choose. Daily work in the office and on the computer is not for you? Can’t sit still and are you constantly looking for a new challenge? With us you get to know the most diverse areas outside of the training workshop and you will never do the same thing all day. Whether technology, business, or IT – each of our professions offers multifaceted activities – an apprenticeship couldn’t be more varied!

Apprentice abroad – with us you have the chance! Our MOVE exchange programme offers you the opportunity to work in the global production network at national or international locations.  You will gain experience beyond the start of your apprenticeship that will prepare you for an international environment. On top of that, you will experience an exciting time in which cultural exchange and fun are not neglected. You will develop personally and strengthen skills such as independence and flexibility.
