After completing my master's degree in mechanical engineering in 2013, I got the opportunity to start my career in development at the BMW Brilliance Automotive joint venture in China. I started in development and was responsible for safeguarding E/E customer functions for BMW vehicles produced in China. In order to also drive the prototypes, I took part in BMW-specific driving training courses and took internal driving tests (evasive manoeuvres, drifting, ideal line, target braking) - and believe me, that was a lot of fun.

In 2018, I moved to the FIZ in Germany and since then I have been responsible for safeguarding customer functions of the vehicles as a test manager in the overall E/E system. We examine the customer functions very thoroughly so that our premium products are ready for series production. A special highlight at work is the presentations of the latest products at press events and international trade fairs. I have the technical responsibility to ensure that all our newly developed functions can be presented and explained tangibly. It is always a wonderful feeling to see how our premium products inspire.

I am proud to be able to work on our latest BMW vehicles and to "experience" the latest technologies. The ability to make an active contribution to the development of our premium products motivates me anew every day.
