GET TO KNOW DANIEL.

I already had early contact with the BMW Group during my studies. My time at BMW began with an internship in Munich and followed by another internship abroad in Oxnard (California, USA). At the end of my studies, I was even able to write my final thesis at the company.

After my studies I started working directly at BMW in the vehicle dynamics development department and joined the department for control system applications. Within the scope of these activities, I was able to drive our products in the driving dynamic limit range on worldwide test tracks (Miramas, Arjeplog, Nürburgring, Dubai, USA, etc.). Since 2017, I’ve taken over a leadership function in the role of module leader wheels/ tyres and I professionally lead a team of 5-6 people. In my daily work as a module leader I’m the interface between the specialist department and the vehicle project. I coordinate component topics in the network of development, purchasing, quality and production.

In my free time I become involved as a duty manager in the voluntary fire brigade. What counts for me here is the strong cohesion in difficult situations and the need to make quick decisions.

At BMW, I’m really enthusiastic about the high level of commitment and the interdisciplinary competence of my colleagues. We always manage to react together to a volatile environment and use this as an opportunity. Of course, this is only possible through team spirit and is evidence of impressive cohesion.
