The BMW Software Project Management practice is dedicated to managing the processes and tools used within BMW for software development. In this role, you will support the automation of processes using tools such as Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, and cloud services (AWS), positively impacting software developers.

 

What awaits you?

  • You use your Python skills to implement solutions that integrate various inputs (REST APIs) into Jira tickets and documentation in Confluence.
  • Additionally, you leverage cloud infrastructure and conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and functionality of your implementations.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation for your work enhances knowledge sharing and project continuity.
  • You contribute to gathering and defining requirements for automation initiatives.
  • Furthermore, you support the design of software architecture tailored to specific needs.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in computer science, software development, or a comparable field.
  • Proven experience in working with REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with GitHub.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is beneficial.
