We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied position as working student at SW configuration management. We develop the software that is used to configure all BMW in-vehicle software. Our software is applied millions of times a year at BMW production, dealerships and for remote software upgrade.
What awaits you?
- In your new role you will develop tests for GUI-based end-to-end testing of our central software tool.
- You will analyze test specifications delivered by specialists and decide on the architecture of the test to be written.
- You write procedures and modules to be reused in other tests.
- You write tests to be incorporated in our CI-system using existing procedures and your own code.
- Furthermore, you support the project manager of the end-2-end testing project. This allows you to gain exceptional insight into many aspects of our way of software configuration management.
What should you bring along?
- Studies of computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or a similar course of studies.
- Good German and excellent English skills.
- Programming skills in Python/Groovy, Java or other.
- Experience in writing tests is a big plus.
- Experience in software architecture is highly appreciated.
