We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship at SW configuration management. We develop the software that is used to configure all BMW in-vehicle software. Our software is applied millions of times a year at BMW production, dealerships and for remote software upgrade.

What awaits you?

• You develop tests for GUI-based end-to-end testing of our central software tool.
• In this role, you analyze test specifications and decide on the architecture of the test to be written.
• You write reusable procedures and modules for other tests.
• Additionally, you write tests to be incorporated into our CI-system using existing procedures and your own code.
• Furthermore, you support the project manager of the end-to-end testing project, gaining exceptional insights into software configuration management.

What should you bring along? 

• Studies in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or a similar course of studies.
• Good German and excellent English skills.
• Proven programming skills in scripting and compiled languages such as Python, Groovy, or Java.
• Experience in writing tests is a big plus.
• Experience in software architecture is highly appreciated.
