At the Cell Manufacturing Competence Center in Parsdorf, you will support the team in developing production processes for the next generation of lithium-ion battery cells. Your motivation and skills will contribute to the success of the team.

What awaits you?

• You support the process development for near-series production of lithium-ion battery cells in our pilot line.
• Here, you accompany the ramp-up of battery cell assembly and gain insights into electromobility at BMW.
• Additionally, you assist in planning, evaluating, and documenting test series in cell assembly.
• You analyze measurement data and create visualizations to identify influencing parameters and their effects on battery cell performance.
• Furthermore, you contribute to daily production and suggest ideas to improve product quality and output.
• Coordination with suppliers completes your range of tasks.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in engineering (mechanical, chemical, industrial), chemistry, physics, or a comparable field.
• Initiative and a hands-on mentality.
• Prior knowledge of lithium-ion batteries or experience with production systems and data analysis is advantageous.
• Proficient use of MS Office and SQL.
• Team and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking ability.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
