We, the BMW Group, offer you an exciting internship in the area of Model-based Systems Engineering. In doing so, you are contributing to the fundamental change of the vehicle development processes with algorithms. The aim is to investigate and implement computer-aided process modelling tools for engineering design tasks and automatically derive corresponding optimization problems.

- Be part of the digital transformation and support the virtualization of overall vehicle development.
- Research and implement process modelling techniques to create visionary concept vehicles.
- Systematically derive optimization problems based on requirements using algorithmic software tools.
- Create a structured overview of design processes for concept vehicles.
- Take responsibility for your own project for the entire workflow, from interviewing engineers to modelling processes to optimization problems.
- Become part of a dynamic team and gain insights into modern vehicle development.
- Bring in your own ideas, gain valuable experience and get a foretaste of future vehicle projects.
What should you bring along?
- Ongoing bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, automotive engineering, computer science or similar.
- Knowledge in systems engineering, requirements engineering, UML, SysML.
- Ideally experience in the area of complete vehicle development.
- Ideally knowledge in mathematical optimization.
- Practical experience in software development with Python.
- Very Good German language skills, English language skills are an advantage.
- Independent and structured way of working with a high level of self-motivation.
