Scholar Programs.
The BMW Scholars Program was started in 2011 as an apprenticeship program for students enrolled in two-year career paths related to manufacturing technology. It has since grown to three different programs: Rising Scholars for high school seniors, Classic Scholars for two-year college students, and Fast Track Scholars for recent college graduates. The programs offer the workplace benefits of a traditional apprenticeship program found in Germany with the additional advantage of tuition and book assistance. Hundreds of students have graduated from the programs in many different areas: Automotive Technology, Equipment Services (ESA), Production, Information Technology, and Business.
