As Automation Specialist in the Energy Module area at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that our production lines are running continuously.

What awaits you?

  • Work Environment - a highly automated production lines equipped with robots, which our team keeps running from automation point of view.
  • Team - you will be a member of a mid-sized team (15-20), multicultural team with junior, medior and senior experts in PLC, robot programming and shopfloor IT topics.
  • Programming and Commissioning of PLC Systems - testing PLC, robot and IT systems, 
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving – you are accountable for the continuous and smooth operation of production when it comes to automation related issues. You will act as a 3rd level support to solve the upcoming problems in collaboration with the maintenance teams.
  •  Planning and Optimization of Production Lines – making our production more effective is crucial for us and naturally the Automation team plays a crucial role in the implementation.

What should you bring along?

  • Educational Background - preferably university degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or other related field of study, or at least a secondary school diploma with relevant professional experience.
  • Work Experience - you have gained at least 1 year of professional experience in PLC programming (preferably Siemens) in a higlhy automated environment.
  • Language skills -  fluent English is required, Hungarian knowledge would be preferred.
  • System knowledge - experience with visualization systems (Siemens WinCC) and Eplan.
  • Precision & Teamwork - ability to work and communicate effectively in a team, with a strong commitment to continuous self-development. Excellent communication skills.
  • Work schedule - willingness to work in shifts.
