Find out if you are the inventive type, good at managing, or implementing ideas. Our Internship Program allows undergraduate and graduate students to work for one time period (spring, summer, or fall) in order to explore their career choices while gaining valuable experience. This enables you to test your career choices while gaining valuable experience in a professional environment. Our interns are used in areas where special projects are assigned.  

Perhaps you are a domestic or an international student who is currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master Degree program, or perhaps you are considering a work experience year. Our program is designed to complement your theoretical studies and support your professional development by providing you with real hands-on experience of working as part of a dynamic team in your chosen field.

REQUIREMENTS.

The program is open to students who are currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Master’s program, or have graduated no more than 12 months prior to internship start date.

Our Internship program is primarily available at our headquarters BMW of North America in Woodcliff Lake (NJ), with limited internship opportunities available at other locations throughout the United States. Mountain View (CA), Oxnard (CA) and Schaumburg (IL).

Our Cooperative Education (Co-Op) Program will support you to gain in-depth exposure and experience at our plant.  You’ll spend at least 3 semesters/ 6 quarters rotating between full-time work and study.  This allows you to work on continuous projects with escalating responsibility.

Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited 4-year university or college in the United States and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree.
