Innovation and Digitalization Co-Op (Fall 2026)

Description:

  • The key objectives of this position are to further innovation development at BMW with a focus on a  digitalization strategy. 
  • The strategy focuses on Generative AI & Data, Robotics & Automation, and Virtualization.
  • The position also may utilize analytical, statistical and programing skills to discover insights from structured and unstructured data to help shape or meet specific business needs and goals.
  • Leading and facilitating activities or projects.
  • Project management and status reporting to ensure the expected results are delivered.
  • Sharing learned knowledge and experience with others who are growing their competencies.
  • Assists cross-functional departments with processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

 

Qualifications:

  • Preferred degree in Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE August 10th –December 11th, 2026.
  • Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations.
