"BMW was my Plan B When I retired from the military, I was originally going to work in a post office, but the job opportunity wasn't there. So I came to apply to BMW and got hired in 2014.

The maintenance development program was a great experience for me. It allowed me to highlight my military training and translate it to the civilian sector. It gave me an opportunity to grow and be where I'm at now as a maintenance technician.

While in the Maintenance Development Program I saw some people that were struggling and I picked up some things a little sooner than others. I would assist my peers to help them gain the knowledge they needed so we could get through the program together. We started the program as one and we finished as one.

I see myself growing, becoming stronger as a maintenance technician. In the future I could see myself being a technical process lead, or a section leader. At BMW, the sky’s the limit."
