Every year, at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, we recruit new apprentices to grow and evolve with us. We offer apprenticeships from level 2-6 across the entire business including IT, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, paint, maintenance, logistics, planning and more.

This means that you can start an apprenticeship after your GCSEs (aged 16) but also during or after T Levels, A Levels, HNC, HND or equivalent.

Each year we offer a 1-year internship or student placement for those studying an undergraduate degree. Internships at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars are an amazing way to gain important skills to enhance your experience at university and build a professional network.

To be eligible you must be studying towards a degree which is relevant to the internship you are applying for, and your university must support an industry placement/gap year.

No need to predict the future, you can create it.

Our carefully designed graduate programme is delivered over 2 years, it is unique to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and designed to help you excel. You will spend time in your home department as well as other areas of the business to enhance your friendships, networks, and knowledge of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

You’ll also have access to high-quality training and development that will stretch your knowledge. With the chance to work flexibly and internationally, this is your time to make a real impact day-to-day. You can apply during your final year of university or after you graduate.

We offer a wide variety of positions across all our programmes. The application windows are as follows:

Graduate programmes – October to November 2025
Internships – opens in October 2025 and stays open until all our positions are filled.
Apprenticeships – opens in January 2026

International placements – as well as the opportunity to apply for roles overseas, apprentices can apply for the MOVE programme which also offers the possibility of a 6-week placement in a location abroad. Our graduates also can complete an international placement as part of their 2-year programme.

Training and personal development – we invest around £3 million per year in vocational and professional training for our UK-based employees. This means we invest in you and provide training that’s relevant to your job, and role within the wider team.

After I completed my placement in HR, I returned to university to finish my degree, and was subsequently successful in securing a place on the Graduate Programme. Sarah moved from Leeds to start her apprenticeship in Launch and Change Control at the home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood. Since then, Sarah’s been getting involved in many important and technically challenging projects.

For George, the big attraction of joining Rolls-Royce Motor Cars was the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the world’s top automotive engineers.

Since joining the Apprenticeship Programme, Louisa has made lifelong friends. She loves being surrounded by supportive colleagues, who have given her constant encouragement and helped her progress in her career.
