Summit ONE in Farnborough is home to our business services, which means we don’t physically produce any cars or components here, but we do everything else behind the scenes for the BMW Group in the UK and IE. The UK is historically one of the top five markets in the world for retail sales volume, making the BMW Group in Farnborough an important contributor to the company’s worldwide success.

BMW (UK) Ltd. is the National Sales Company for BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad in the UK, whilst BMW Financial Services (GB) offers tailored finance and insurance solutions to Retailers, corporate and private customers. Alphabet (GB) Ltd. is a leading provider of business mobility who provide tailored end-to-end corporate mobility solutions.

Farnborough is home to over 1200 BMW Group Associates. Located near Junction 4A of the M3 and only 35 miles from London, the self-contained 10-acre site is set in attractive landscaped grounds and consists of three separate buildings that provide over 300,000 square feet of flexible working space.

Farnborough is a town located in Hampshire, South East England – home to a population of approximately 60,000 people. Mostly famous for its connection with aviation, Farnborough hosts an air show every two years at its airport which draws a huge crowd of international visitors.

The stunning landscape in the area makes it ideal for those of you who enjoy the outdoors. Surrey Hills National Park is a fine example of some of England’s most beautiful countryside, with its extensive network of walking and cycling paths, small farms and cafes and bars where you can taste locally brewed wine or enjoy a cup of afternoon tea.

West London, Basingstoke and Reading are all under 45 minutes drive away from Farnborough by car. The closest of the three, Basingstoke, is an important economic centre in the UK and old market town, where you will find a wealth of English cuisine in one of its great gastro pubs. Reading is a large and historical town and one of UK’s top ten shopping destinations, and every year the city hosts one of England’s biggest music festivals: the Reading Festival. Heathrow and Gatwick airports can both be reached within 1 hour by car from Farnborough, making international travel a stress-free option.
