As HR Compensation and Benefits Specialist at the BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in continuously reviewing and developing our competitive and motivating rewards strategy to attract and retain top talent.
What awaits you?
- Work environment – You will work at the Communication Center located within the BMW Group Plant Debrecen, in an open-office environment together with other office employees and your team members.
- Team – You will join a local team of 6–8 experts. Initially, you will work independently in the compensation area, and later in close cooperation with a second specialist. Collaboration with various departments will play a key role to ensure that compensation and benefits strategies align with both central and local corporate goals.
- Market research and analysis – You will conduct the necessary market research and benchmarking based on industry standards and best practices, and develop relevant action proposals based on your findings.
- Strategy and concept development – You will review and update compensation structures, design independent strategies, and create new concepts and processes. You will evaluate and continuously improve compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate talent.
- Regulatory compliance – You will ensure full compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compensation and benefits.
- Project management and budget planning – You will manage compensation and benefits projects, prepare forecasts, deliver presentations, and participate in budget planning in cooperation with the Finance and Central HR teams.
- Compensation cycle coordination – You will lead and coordinate bonus and salary review processes.
- Expert support and training – You will deliver trainings and provide guidance to managers and employees on policies and processes related to compensation and benefits.
What should you bring along?
- Educational background – You hold a bachelor’s degree in HR, Economics, or any related field.
- Work experience – You have at least 3 years of experience in HR compensation and benefits, with solid knowledge in designing and implementing complex compensation and benefits programs.
- Work schedule – You are willing to work on-site at least 4 days a week during regular business hours.
- Language skills – You are fluent in both English and Hungarian, in writing and speaking.
- Required knowledge – You acquired knowledge in data analysis, financial modeling, and are familiar with HR information systems.
- Communication skills – You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Problem solving and strategic thinking – You excel at systems-level problem-solving and demonstrate strong strategic thinking abilities.
