About our plant.
Around half of all new BMW and MINI vehicles receive a "heart" from Austria. In addition, the plant manufactures millions of engine components such as crankcase and cylinder heads annually. With this expertise in combustion engines and alternative drives, we are well positioned to shape future powertrain development.
E-drive technology will play an even greater role for the location in the future: Because from 2025 onwards, the next generation of BMW Group e-drives will be produced here. The Steyr development site is also breaking new ground, with a completely new high-performance electric drive currently being developed.

Steyr am Nationalpark, rich in culture, industry, nature and architecture, is a livable and lovable small town. The confluence of the Enns and Steyr rivers below the castle is picturesque.
