FAQs.

To participate in the programme, you must be an active MSc daytime student, i.e., you cannot participate as a correspondence student.

The minimum level is B2, i.e., you should be able to converse in English. Other languages can be advantageous but are not required.

If you are an IK, TTK, or GTK student, you must be in the office for 2 days and at the university for 3 days each week. If you are an MK student, you will work 40 hours per week for 6 weeks with us, then stay at the university for 6 weeks, and this repeats.

In the interview, you will meet us in person first. There will be a test and a case study that you will need to complete. Once these are done, the personal interview begins, whose purpose is to get to know you as well as possible and you can meet with the colleagues of the technology.

The interview is conducted in Hungarian.

Essentially yes, but we are flexible about this. You will be able to coordinate any absences due to exams with your supervisor.

Your working hours will be flexible and coordinated with your supervisor, but this may vary by department.

FastLane students are allowed 20 days of holiday per year, which they can take in agreement with the manager.

This is an occasional issue to be discussed, but you should strive to complete your university studies while participating in the programme.

A competitive salary with each half year increases, plus a benefits package (subsidized meals, employee discounts, health services, cafeteria).

Yes, you will be a BMW employee, so all associated benefits and opportunities apply to you.

Yes, we offer trainings for both your studies and your personal development, which you can attend for free.

Yes, you will receive work clothing and IT equipment (laptop, phone).

Generally, you should expect to work on-site, but if needed, you can arrange a home-office option with your supervisor.

Of course. If you want to write about a BMW-related topic, we can even help. In that case, however, your thesis must be classified as confidential.

We do not obligate you to work here after the programme, but we hope that the opportunities, culture, team, and working conditions here will motivate you to strengthen the BMW team after the programme as well.
