How would you describe BMW Group Canada’s culture?

I would describe BMW Group Canada’s culture with two E’s: efficient and empathetic. As a large organization, there’s never a shortage of tasks to work on. However, Managers do a great job making sure deadlines are met, while still maintaining a healthy work-life balance for all Associates. We’re also very fortunate to have a strong Health and Wellness program, providing a range of services from mental health support to group fitness classes.

What have you enjoyed most working at BMW Group?

The extra-curricular’s have not only been fun, but provide a great opportunity to meet colleagues you wouldn’t typically work with on a day-to-day basis. For me, the co-ed soccer team against other automotive companies has been a highlight from my time at BMW Group. Through programs like these, you’re able to build a strong relationship with colleagues outside of the office, making work in the office more cohesive.

What’s special about working at BMW Canada?

Without a doubt, it’s the employees at BMW Group Canada that make it the great organization it is. I look forward to coming in to work every day knowing I have a group of people who are willing to support and challenge me constantly.

What does it take to be successful here?

To be successful at BMW, it’s imperative you implement a One Team approach to your work on a daily basis. Working hard is necessary, but working efficiently is more important. I’ve learned that my fellow Associates are my greatest resource as many individuals have worked in different departments during their careers with BMW. By leveraging these relationships, you’ll be able to implement a more holistic approach to your work and understand how the business functions at a more granular level.
