What have you enjoyed most working at BMW Group Canada? What gets you most excited about coming to work?

As cliché as it sounds, the people are what make BMW Group Canada the great organization it is. I’m so fortunate to be surrounded by people who both support and challenge me. It seems like the Automotive industry is changing daily and it’s so exciting to work for a brand that’s at the forefront.

What is your dream car?

I’m not just saying this as Rolls Royce is a part of the BMW Group, but a Black Badge Wraith has been my dream car for as long as I can remember. I think Rolls Royce is the epitome of luxury and their attention to detail is truly unparalleled. Maybe one day…

What surprised you the most or made you the happiest about working at BMW Group Canada?

Admittedly I wasn’t much of a car guy growing up, but I always recognized the power of the BMW brand. The one thing that surprised me – but it really shouldn’t have – is the pride I developed for the work we do. It gives me a great sense of fulfillment to see just how much our customers enjoy driving our product. Being able to drive them myself isn’t too bad either!

Please describe your career path within the BMW Group Canada! What has your career journey been like? How has the organization helped with your professional development?

I’m grateful to have started my journey with BMW right after university as the Retailer Development Intern. From there, I moved to the National Sales department where I was responsible for Sales Reporting & Analysis. I then made the jump to Volume Planning for both the BMW & MINI brands and I’m currently working as a Regional Sales Manager! In just under 6 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in five different positions with each of them playing an integral role in my growth at BMW. Outside of job titles, I’ve been given so many opportunities to develop myself, from chairing employee engagement committees to representing the organization at One Young World. There is no shortage of opportunities for personal and professional growth here!
