MINI has successfully established itself as a premium small car brand in India since its launch in January 2012. Presently, the MINI model range in India includes MINI 3-door, MINI John Cooper Works Hatch, MINI 5-door, MINI Convertible, MINI Countryman and MINI Clubman. The MINI Countryman is locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai.
BMW Motorrad.
BMW Motorrad officially started its operations as a part of the Indian subsidiary of BMW Group in April 2017. BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS have been developed in Munich, Germany by BMW Motorrad and are locally-produced by cooperation partner TVS Motor Company in Hosur, India. Many BMW Motorrad motorcycles are available in India as completely built-up units (CBU).
