What awaits you?
As a Process Leader, you’ll be the driving force behind productivity, quality, and human development within your area. You will manage multidisciplinary teams across multiple shifts, ensuring that excellence is delivered in every unit produced.Your mission is to ensure the successful ramp-up of the Battery Module production system within your Penthouse Production/Rework team.
- Lead, mentor, and develop your production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Ensure the highest standards of safety and tidiness in your area.
- Identify training needs, organize qualification courses, and ensure all new employees are successfully onboarded and technically proficient.
- Take full ownership of shift output, product quality, and cost management.
- Lead root cause analysis for system failures, quality deviations, or quantity losses. You are responsible for the first failure control loop and the initiation of preventive measures.
- Actively participate in the planning and optimization of new production facilities and technical modifications.
- Lead special activities, including extraordinary weekend shifts, planned shutdowns, and major repair activities.
- Participate in and lead maintenance, quality, environmental, and system audits to ensure BMW Group standards.
- Responsible of proactive implementation of the BMW work organization, the VPS methods and a continuous improvement process complement your interesting area of responsibility.
What should you bring along?
We are seeking an expert with significant industrial experience and proven leadership ability.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, project management (preferably automotive). Other appropriate experience or qualifications in a related field of manufacturing like battery production or any technologies.
- Good communication, teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills.
- Fluent written and spoken business English required.
