Our team provides a 24/7 cloud-based high-performance software development platform with scalable services for ECU software development, continuous integration, and agile project management. CodeCraft includes commercial, open-source, and self-built services used by over 30,000 users implementing more than 200,000 software builds per day.

 

What awaits you?

  • You will support the CodeCraft team in daily operations of the software development infrastructure within BMW's E division.
  • Furthermore, you help gather and document requirements from various stakeholders and user groups.
  • In addition, you contribute to structuring, maintaining, and preparing backlog items for operational use.
  • Moreover, you assist with preparing and programming structures, reports, roadmaps, and timeline overviews using agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SQL.
  • You will support coordination tasks with external DevOps partners including meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Additionally, you help analyze user touchpoints and feedback to derive insights for continuous improvement.
  • You also contribute to ongoing improvements of CodeCraft services and processes.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in computer science, IT, IT project management, business informatics, or a related field.
  • Interest in software development platforms, IT infrastructure, and DevOps environments.
  • Programming skills and knowledge of scripting or data analysis such as Python or SQL.
  • First theoretical or practical exposure to agile methods or software engineering.
  • Structured working style, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills and clear written communication.
  • Business-fluent German and English skills.
