Our team at the BMW Group focuses on creating realistic driving experiences through advanced driving simulation. We provide test drivers with realistic environments where traffic participants act in a human-like manner. This internship offers you the opportunity to contribute to innovative AI approaches in the field of agent modeling.
What awaits you?
- You will support extensive interaction and data collection in our driving simulation environment.
- Furthermore, you help visualize and analyze collected datasets, preparing them for training pipelines.
- In addition, you contribute to the development and application of existing and new approaches in imitation learning.
- Moreover, you assist with modeling and training neural networks as part of your daily responsibilities.
- Additionally, you will help transfer AI approaches to the virtual world and support data-driven development in driving simulation.
- You will also collaborate with a team of subject matter experts.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in computer science, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence, mathematics, or a related field.
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Advanced knowledge of deep learning and imitation learning, as well as Autograd tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax, etc.
- Structured work style and analytical thinking.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Fluent German or good English skills.
