Reporting directly to the Director, BMW Motorrad Canada, the Intern will support the entire BMW Motorrad Team with a strong focus on data analysis, reporting, and process development across Sales, Aftersales, Marketing, and Retailer Development.
The role is expected to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and information flow, while supporting the simplification and documentation of recurring business processes. The tentative start date for this internship is May 2026.
Key Accountabilities of the function.
- Data & Reporting
- Collect, consolidate, and validate market and retailer network data (sales, registrations, wholesales, forecasts).
- Develop, maintain, and improve Excel‑based reporting tools and dashboards.
- Support digital performance reporting (leads, web traffic, configurations).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation
- Process Development & Automation
- Analyze existing data‑collection and reporting processes and propose improvements.
- Support automation and standardization of recurring reports.
- Leverage analytical tools and AI‑enabled solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Systems & Content Management
- Support publication and maintenance of internal and retailer‑facing bulletins.
- Assist with preparation, updates, and version control of Product Guides and Accessories Guides.
- Coordinate structured content updates across internal systems and stakeholders.
- Cross‑Functional Support
- Collaborate with Sales, Aftersales, Marketing, and Retailer Development teams.
- Support retailer audits related to data quality and reporting.
- Assist with internal communications and selected events as required.
Qualifications.
- In progress (with completion by start of role timing) or recent completion of a College or University degree in Business Management or related field.
Additional skills: special skills / technical ability etc.
- In progress (with completion by start of role timing) or recent completion of a College or University degree in Business Management or related field.
- Advanced user of MS Office. Excel (advanced formulas, Reporting automation, Data quality checks), and especially Power Query is essential.
- Additional computer systems (e.g: SAP, Tableau) highly valued.
- Strong understanding and use of AI and related systems.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and become functional on new systems quickly highly regarded.
- Very strong organization, project management, communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to drive projects from start to finish and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Ability to build clear and impactful presentations.
- Ability to thrive in a fun, but fast-paced, work-intensive environment with multiple contacts and/or stakeholders.
- Proactive, problem solver, able to make decisions.
- Strong interest in the automotive/motorcycle industry. Motorcycle license and/or experience is highly appreciated but not a prerequisite.
- Bilingual in French considered as an asset.
Compensation.
The compensation range for this role is $46,000 - $48,000, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
