Our team at the BMW Group focuses on developing AI-driven solutions for analyzing technical documentation, sensor data, and engineering processes. We combine research-oriented approaches with production-relevant machine learning projects to advance innovation in the automotive industry.

What awaits you?

• You will support implementing and experimenting with NLP models for technical document analysis and structured information extraction.
• Furthermore, you help develop machine learning models for industrial sensor data, including preprocessing, feature engineering and model evaluation.
• In addition, you contribute to prototyping multimodal pipelines that combine text and numerical data.
• Moreover, you will assist with real-world industrial datasets and gain insight into scalable data pipelines and AI deployment processes.
• You will also collaborate directly with the project lead and gain hands-on exposure to applied AI in a production-oriented environment.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics or a related technical field (Master level).
• Solid programming skills in Python.
• Basic experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Interest in Natural Language Processing and data-driven modeling.
• Ability to structure technical problems independently.
• Good English communication skills.
