Agile Systems Analyst
The role of an Agile System Analyst is based in Farnborough, where you will take a leading role in driving complex, large-scale change initiative that empower the business to achieve its strategic goals and targets. You will be part of the project team who will embark on the replacement of the existing Contract Management System (CMS) for both the Retail and then Fleet business. The role will be part of a diverse IT team alongside service providers and vendors, collaborating closely with stakeholders across multiple departments—both within IT and the broader business (market and central)—you will ensure successful delivery of change and then introduce operational stability for the implemented solution.
This role will initially focus on the B2C CMS system replacement, SEAL UK and SEAL IE), it will then move to the replacement of the Fleet CMS (Fleetware) if a combined CMS for both businesses is not implemented.
What Awaits You:
- Support product development by formulating and defining project scope, objectives, backlog, and refinements.
- Independently conduct complex research and analysis to develop requirements and solutions aligned with business needs and IT systems.
- Apply best practices to design effective solutions addressing complex business and IT challenges.
- Collaborate with BMW Group and vendors to align system design and development with requirements using the Agile Working Model (AWM) framework.
- Lead Systems Integration Testing activities to ensure systems meet requirements and support multi-business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing.
- Support vendor selection and management to deliver products and services effectively.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer into operations to ensure long-term sustainability.
What You Should Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in systems analysis and full project lifecycle, including international cooperation. A focus on CMS replacements would be beneficial.
- Strong project management experience; certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile are desirable.
- Preferably experience within Financial Services and automotive industry IT environments.
- In-depth knowledge of business and systems analysis with formal qualifications.
- Proven ability to operate within complex legacy systems landscapes and familiarity with BMW Group standard solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across departments and vendors.
