Our team at the BMW Group drives Android Automotive governance, platform consistency, and compliance across BMW's next generation infotainment platform. We operate at the intersection of Android technology, automotive software, system architecture, and quality assurance. At the BMW Group, interns are treated as genuine contributors from day one. We believe in learning by doing, giving you ownership of meaningful tasks while supporting you with the expertise of an experienced development team.

 

What awaits you?

  • You will support the automation of Android Compliance processes, including CDD and CTS.
  • Furthermore, you contribute to developing Python based pipelines for parsing test results, detecting patterns, generating reports, and creating or updating tickets.
  • In addition, you help build and deploy state of the art AI Agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, A2A, and the OpenAI Agent SDK.
  • Moreover, you assist engineering teams by adding intelligence and automation to daily development workflows.
  • You will also explore and prototype new ideas to improve Android governance and architecture.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and an interest in automation and tooling.
  • Familiarity or proven experience with AI and LLM frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, or software engineering principles.
  • Experience with Android development or programming languages like Java, Kotlin, or C++ is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset, problem solving skills, and a passion for exploring new technologies.
  • Good English skills; German is a plus but not required.
