In this role, you will support the development of high-voltage batteries by contributing to crash and fatigue simulations. You will gain valuable insights into innovative methods and technologies in this field.

What awaits you?

  • You support crash and fatigue simulations of high-voltage batteries on system and component levels.
  • Additionally, you conduct parameter studies and evaluate the sensitivity and robustness of mechanical systems.
  • Here, you apply AI-based methods to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of finite element simulations.
  • You assist in coordinating materials tests and calibrating material models for NVH and fatigue simulations.
  • This role offers you interesting insights into the development of high-voltage batteries in crash and fatigue simulations.

What should you bring along?

  • Enrollment in a Master's program in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science, physics, or a comparable degree.
  • A solid understanding of the finite element method.
  • Experience using ANSA, LS-DYNA, and/or NASTRAN.
  • Programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB.
  • Ideally, experience in mechanical material testing.
  • Motivation to contribute your ideas and explore new paths.
  • Very good English skills; proficiency in German is a plus.

Are you excited to support crash and fatigue simulations and gain insights into high-voltage battery development? Then apply now!
