In this internship, you will contribute to the development of innovative algorithms to accelerate and robustify distributed design optimization frameworks. You will gain valuable insights into modern vehicle development and play a key role in shaping future projects.
What awaits you?
- You support the digital transformation and virtualization of overall vehicle development.
- Research and implement the latest mathematical concepts from non-linear programming to accelerate convergence towards optimal design.
- Explore methods to extend distributed optimization to non-convex problems.
- Develop strategies for parallel computing in distributed optimization.
- Be part of a dynamic team and gain insights into modern vehicle development.
- Bring in your ideas, gain valuable experience, and contribute to future vehicle projects.
What should you bring along?
- Ongoing master's degree in mathematics, computational engineering, informatics, or a similar field.
- Profound knowledge in mathematical numerical optimization and/or non-linear programming (mandatory).
- Ideally, practical experience in software development with Python.
- Very good English or German language skills.
- Structured way of working with a high level of self-motivation.
