BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for a Product Owner, on a FTC basis until December 2026. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.
What awaits you?
· Oversee the development and ongoing enhancements of relevant products, ensuring alignment with local domain vision and strategy.
· Collaborate with Domain and Process Owners to identify, define, analyse, prioritize, and refine product backlogs, effectively communicating requirements to the development team.
· Develop a product strategy that aligns with the local domain vision and the overall strategy for the UK and Republic of Ireland.
· Create and maintain a product roadmap that supports the local domain roadmap and vision, ensuring it reflects prioritized change activities.
· Act as the single point of contact for the development team, empowered to make decisions that drive prioritized changes for maximum customer value.
· Ensure that deliverables meet end-user and customer expectations, and manage necessary change activities, including training and communications.
· Engage with Process Owners to maximize value and customer benefits from change activities, while continuously refining system functionality and business architecture.
· Estimate and secure business resources needed to deliver the product roadmap, ensuring the right skills and capabilities are present within the product feature team.
What should you bring along?
· Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
· Proven experience in leading and implementing change initiatives effectively.
· Ability to manage and influence teams and individuals at all organisational levels.
· Demonstrated experience in leading projects within a cross-functional environment.
· Exposure to the automotive Finance Industry is desirable.
· A strong passion for understanding current and potential future customers in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
· Understanding of the business and IT landscape in the UK and Ireland.
· Creativity and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to look beyond conventional boundaries.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying topics for diverse audiences.
· Excellent networking skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
