Our team at BMW Car IT is passionate about software and modern development methods. We focus on continuous integration, agile development, and test automation to deliver innovative, high-quality software for BMW vehicles. As a working student, you will support us in advancing our automated test environment for Linux-based infotainment head units and gain valuable experience in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

What awaits you?

• You will support the development team in providing state-of-the-art testing frameworks and tools for future BMW head units.
• Furthermore, you help to enhance our automated test framework and related tools.
• In addition, you contribute to integrating and maintaining dashboards for test results using Amazon Quicksight.
• Moreover, you will assist in designing and managing tools to extract data from our cloud-based test results database for advanced reporting.
• You help to visualize exported data from the cloud to generate valuable insights.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in computer science or a related field.
• Basic experience in any programming language, with a few small projects completed.
• Fundamental understanding of at least one SQL dialect, preferably Amazon Athena.
• Initial knowledge of Python and HTML/JavaScript is an advantage.
• Interest in cloud technologies and data visualization.
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
• Good English skills.
