Our team at BMW Car IT is passionate about software and modern development methods. We focus on continuous integration, agile development, and test automation to deliver innovative, high-quality software for BMW vehicles. As a working student, you will support us in advancing our automated test environment for Linux-based infotainment head units and gain valuable experience in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
What awaits you?
- You will support the development team in providing state-of-the-art testing frameworks and tools for future BMW head units.
- Furthermore, you help to enhance our automated test framework and related tools.
- In addition, you contribute to integrating and maintaining dashboards for test results using Amazon Quicksight.
- Moreover, you will assist in designing and managing tools to extract data from our cloud-based test results database for advanced reporting.
- You help to visualize exported data from the cloud to generate valuable insights.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in computer science or a related field.
- Basic experience in any programming language, with a few small projects completed.
- Fundamental understanding of at least one SQL dialect, preferably Amazon Athena.
- Initial knowledge of Python and HTML/JavaScript is an advantage.
- Interest in cloud technologies and data visualization.
- Analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
- Good English skills.
