Our team at the BMW Group focuses on functional development and data management, supporting advanced machine learning and computational research. We collaborate to deliver robust, scalable software solutions for innovative applications.
What awaits you?
- You will support the design and development of software tools and frameworks for machine learning and data-driven research.
- Furthermore, you help to build and maintain scalable, efficient, and well-documented codebases.
- In addition, you contribute to integrating research models and algorithms into production-level software.
- Moreover, you will assist in performance optimization and profiling of computational code.
- You will collaborate with a diverse team of researchers and engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in computer science or a related field.
- Strong software engineering background and proven programming experience (e.g., Python, C++, Java or similar).
- Familiarity with software development best practices: version control, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker).
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing large-scale or high-performance applications is a plus.
- Interest or knowledge in mathematics, AI, computer vision, 3D geometry, or scientific computing is highly desirable.
- Good English skills.
