About the Position.
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing & Customer Engagement, the Marketing and Customer Engagement Intern provides direct support to the MCE Team. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to BMW Group Financial Services (FS) CRM support, support with system-based projects, preparation of presentations, and other admin related responsibilities.
Key accountabilities of the function.
FS Campaign Support:
- Support with data requests to FS IT
- Target segmentation (data list manipulation)
- Retailer list divisions
- Support the initial round FS scrubbing
- HTML development support (internal and external, email/Secure Message Centre)
- Editing HTMLs
- Review legal footers, links and copy alignment
- Review communication material to ensure adherence to Corporate and Brand Guidelines
- Assisting in the email / secure message centre / letter approval process
- Support with Siebel email / Secure Message Centre testing
- Meeting Minutes / campaign report summaries
- Retailer Communication support (HTML Emails)
- Estimate procurement from partner vendors
- Support with system-based projects:
- Follow ups with stakeholders, approval support
- Ticket submissions
- Vendor inquiry management
- Project requirements documentation
Admin Support:
- Translation request management support
- Customer communication fulfillment
- Fulfillment of FS Merchandise to the Retailer Network
- PowerPoint Slides presentation support for FS departments
- Ad-hoc reporting for Sales and Marketing Departments
Qualifications.
- Current student or recent graduate, preferably with a business or marketing communications focus.
- Minimum one year experience within Marketing, Communications, Financial Services or Sales.
- SAP experience as asset.
- Bilingualism (English/French) a strong asset.
- Experience in HTML coding/creation.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
