As a Maintenance Engineer in the Paint Shop at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that our production lines operate without stopping and without problems, so that the metal bodywork arriving from the body shop is perfectly prepared, painted and finally polished.
What awaits you?
- Work environment - Highly automated production line, with a well-equipped office environment located right next to it.
- Team – In the maintenance area, you will work as part of a team of approximately 35-40 people, including junior and senior engineers, maintenance technicians, and team and area managers.
- Ensure continuous production - Establish a maintenance plan to ensure high technical availability. Moreover, plan various maintenance activities for our production lines.
- Optimize processes - Your main tasks also include planning optimization of production processes and systems together with operative maintenance.
- Work with digital tools - Using maintenance related systems (e.g., SAP) for your maintenance planning tasks.
- Collaborate with partners - Coordinate and organizing all suppliers performing services in the area. Controlling supplier services, performance, assistance, working time and payment.
- Support your team - Support associates in technical problems and inform associates about technical changes to follow up technology update.
- Build the future - Assure Spare parts administration and general maintenance material to correctly perform the maintenance activities.
What should you bring along?
- Technical Education - Successfully completed Bachelor´s degree in an Engineering field (electrical/mechanical/mechatronics) or other technical degree. If you have already gained experience in machine maintenance, that is an advantage.
- Relevant Experience - Several years of experience in machine maintenance - maintenance planning, spare part management, project management.
- Soft Skills - Being a structured and self-responsible employee. Outstanding communication and organization skills are also needed.
- Language Proficiency - Hungarian and English working proficiency is required. German proficiency would be and advantage.
