National Used Car Sales Manager

Our team in Sales is currently searching for a National Used Car Sales Manager.
What awaits you?
- Develop and drive Used Car sales targets across wholesale purchases, retail turnover and BMW Premium Certified sales, while steering dealer performance against agreed volume and commercial objectives.
- Strengthen dealer engagement in BMW Premium Certified and MINI Used Car NEXT through targeted campaigns, incentives, coaching and performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage and further develop remarketing channels, including auctions, direct sales and dealer-to-dealer transactions, to maximise stock levels, speed to sale and financial returns.
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics and stock control of fleet and used vehicles, ensuring timely transport, grounding, inspection, rectification, invoicing and accurate reporting.
- Monitor market and competitor activity, analyse sales funnels and stock performance, and provide actionable insights to improve dealer participation, stock turn and ageing stock outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, the BMW Dealer Network and external partners to enhance Used Car processes, systems, governance and sales channel allocation.
What you should bring along?
- A university or tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business Management or a related discipline is desirable.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry in a comparable Used Car, remarketing or sales role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the dealer business model and a sound understanding of the key profit and volume levers within Used Car operations.
- Well-developed communication, influencing, sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
- A proficient approach to problem solving and conflict resolution, supported by strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Experience using SAP is desirable, together with the adaptability to support evolving processes, systems and commercial priorities.
