BMW FINANCIAL SERVICES
The Treasury Trainee supports the execution of daily treasury operations, contributing to the organization's liquidity management, financial reporting, and banking activities. Working closely withFinance, Accounting, Risk Management and regional stakeholders. This role assists in cash management processes, payment operations, forecasting activities, and financial controls. Additionally, the Treasury Trainee supports month-end closing activities, supplier payment processes, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. Serving as a key contributor to the treasury function, this position leverages digital tools and analytical capabilities to support financial decision-making and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
WHAT AWAITS YOU?
Support daily treasury operations, including cash management, bank statement monitoring, payment processing, and liquidity tracking.
Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts, financial reports, and month-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial information.
Create and manage purchase requisitions, invoice processing, and treasury-related administrative activities.
Support customer refund processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and approval workflows.
Assist in process improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and transparency within treasury operations.
Coordinate with banks, auditors, and external partners to support treasury activities and compliance requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related.
Up to 2 years of experience through internships, trainee programs or entry-level positions in Treasury, Finance, Banking, or Accounting.
Strong interest in corporate treasury, cash management, financial analysis, and banking operations.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Fluent English and Spanish communication skills (written and spoken).
