The Senior Credit & Collections Analyst is responsible for supporting credit risk management, collections activities, and dealer financial due diligence across the U.S. market. This role works closely with internal business partners, dealers, financial institutions, and credit reporting agencies to ensure timely payment of receivables, mitigation of credit risk, and compliance with company policies.
WHAT AWAITS YOU.
- Support daily credit and collections operations for vehicle, motorcycle, parts, and accessory sales.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Review and approve dealer orders based on credit qualifications.
- Maintain and secure BMW collateral, including UCC filings and other security interests.
- Oversee the distribution of Motorcycle Manufacturer Statements of Origin (MSOs).
- Coordinate monthly dealer settlement processes with Accounting and IT teams.
- Monitor collection activities related to employee parts purchases and dealer auction balances.
- Conduct due diligence reviews of prospective dealer candidates, including:
- Credit reports.
- Financial statement analysis.
- Background checks.
- OFAC screening.
- Assess financial risk and make credit recommendations for prospective dealers.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate credit-related processes.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of credit and collections experience.
- Experience with:
- Credit analysis.
- Letters of Credit and Guarantees.
- Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings.
- Financial statement analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial ratios and credit risk evaluation.
Preferences:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Relocation is not available for this position.
In support of BMW Group’s business objectives, this position requires regular onsite attendance at a BMW office/facility with remote work capability (hybrid).
The expected salary range for this position is $62,500 - $125,000.
The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
