IT TRAINEE

BMW FINANCIAL SERVICES

The IT Trainee supports the IT department in managing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure, while executing key strategies for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. In this role, you will assist in deploying AI platforms, managing security vulnerabilities (including WIZ monitoring and penetration testing), and optimizing cloud resource performance and costs. Working closely with internal teams like SF2-LA and external tech providers, you will help accelerate digital innovation through automation, ensure a secure-by-design foundation, and drive cloud transformation across the region.

WHAT AWAITS YOU? 

• Lead the implementation and integration of AI platforms across NFSC.
• Partner with business units to identify and develop AI-driven use cases that add measurable value.
• Develop and deliver security awareness sessions and events to strengthen organizational cybersecurity culture.
• Provide regular security reporting, highlighting risks, trends, and mitigation progress to key stakeholders.
• Drive cost vs. performance optimization strategies to maximize cloud value.
• Collaborate across departments to align AI, cybersecurity, and cloud initiatives with business goals.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ALONG?

• Bachelor's degree in Computing science, computing engineering, data transformation or related.

• 1+ year proven experience in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Cloud (AWS) environments, ideally within complex, multi-regional organizations.

• 1+ year experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure and platform operations, including provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.

• 1+ year working with agile methodologies.

• Proficient in English.
