The Credit Analyst is responsible for the credit management of part of the commercial finance portfolio, which requires prudent lending decisions and close monitoring and control to avoid losses whilst enabling growth and profitability.

What awaits you?
- Interpretation of financial information and other KPIs to make prudent decisions balancing risk & reward
- Prepare credit reports with lending recommendation and conditions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Monitor the Early Warning System and take action as appropriate to mitigate our risk
- Understanding and interpretation of credit risk & collateral policy and business strategy to ensure that targets are achieved and maintained
- Maintain credit records and limits.
- Support creation of monthly reports for the Local Credit Committee(s)
- Identify and implement business process improvements to ensure effective and efficient credit review and monitoring procedures.
- Ensuring lending processes always meet the regulatory requirements.
- Support Commercial Finance Area Manages with design and packaging of credit proposals to ensure adherence with central and local Credit Risk and Collateral Policies.
- Engagement with Credit Management Department to share/learn best practice across all markets.
- Implement recommendations from Credit Road Map assessments to improve the Compliance and Governance Management Maturity level across the various credit topics.
What should you bring along?
- Studying for an undergraduate degree in Business Management or similar and in line to achieve a 2:1 or above.
- Basic customer services experience (i.e. retail/hospitality).
- Microsoft Office (incl. PowerPoint) advantageous.
- Quick to pick up IT applications (online tools, project management tools etc.).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical and analytical mindset.
- Attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
- Able to show an interest in sustainability and sustainable practices.
