Pricing Manager

As Pricing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing pricing across BMW Group Australia, covering BMW, MINI and Motorrad. This position is responsible for price controlling, financial analysis and the effective steering and reporting of Corporate Sales, Used Cars/Fleet and Special Vehicles performance. Working closely with key business partners, you will help ensure pricing strategies support market competitiveness, financial viability and informed commercial decision-making.

What awaits you?

• You will ensure competitive and financially viable price positioning across BMW, MINI and Motorrad products in the Australian market, supporting long-term pricing strategy with key counterparts across the business and BMW New Zealand where alignment is required.
• You will drive the price controlling process across BMW Group divisions, maintaining accurate pricing data in PCASO, COPAS and related systems.
• You will prepare financial evaluations, business cases and pricing proposals for new models, lifecycle updates, repositioning, package pricing and other product initiatives.
• You will provide financial transparency, analysis and guidance for Corporate Sales, Special Vehicles and Fleet sales performance to support key business decisions.
• You will lead monthly reporting and tracking of pricing and product measures, using Power BI and system automation opportunities to improve reporting visibility, reduce manual processes and support more efficient, data-led decision-making.
• You will partner with Product, Sales, Aftersales, Group Controlling and other stakeholders to ensure pricing proposals, invoicing and systems processes meet internal benchmarks and financial requirements.

What you should bring along?

• A tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, accounting or a related discipline, with CPA or equivalent highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of accounting, pricing methodologies and the ability to develop robust business cases.
• Experience in the automotive industry across sales, aftersales, finance or pricing, with knowledge of local and international market dynamics desirable.
• Sound product knowledge across BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad products, or the ability to quickly develop this expertise.
• Advanced Microsoft Office capability, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with confidence working with data, reporting tools such as Power BI and system-based process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial and pricing information clearly in written, verbal and presentation formats.
