Accounting Manager

At BMW Group Financial Services Hellas we complete the BMW Group's range of mobility services in Greece, offering tailored financial solutions like credit financing and leasing. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to drive excellence in accounting operations and financial reporting.

What awaits you?

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the timely completion of month-end and year-end closing procedures for financial, tax and regulatory reporting.
• Supervise all core accounting activities, including fixed assets, general ledger, reconciliations, payables, receivables and tax processes.
• Lead the preparation and submission of annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with Greek GAAP, IFRS standards and corporate tax, acting as the primary contact for auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Own and continuously improve accounting, financial closing and administrative processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls (ICS), increase efficiency, and support digitalization and AI initiatives.
• Provide accounting expertise for new products, projects and business processes, ensuring alignment with BMW Group and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, develop and mentor the accounting team.
• Join a dynamic international environment with extensive collaboration across BMW Group companies and global stakeholders.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• A-Class accounting license.
• Strong knowledge of Greek GAAP, IFRS and Greek Tax regulations.
• At least six (6) years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the fields of Banking, Financial Services, Automotive or Rental.
• Experience in developing, coaching, and empowering teams.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office, SAP and AI tools. 
• Data-driven mindset with a strong interest in digital innovation and the practical application of AI technologies.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
