We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic intern to join the Internal Communications team within Corporate Communications – the department responsible for protecting, building and promoting the image of the BMW Group and its products in the UK.
Communication plays an important part in helping our people feel informed, connected and engaged with the business. In this role, you’ll work across a wide range of topics, from product news and sustainability to corporate announcements and CSR activity, developing practical internal communications skills within a fast-paced environment.

What awaits you?
- Support the planning and delivery of internal communications, ensuring messages are shared via the most appropriate channels.
- Work with colleagues across the business to draft engaging content that communicates information clearly, accurately and in a consistent tone of voice.
- Publish and manage content across a range of channels and platforms, including email, intranet, Viva Engage, digital signage and employee apps.
- Source supporting imagery, create infographics, and support with filming and editing video content to enhance the impact of our internal communications.
- Support the planning and delivery of internal events, including all-staff town halls, CSR initiatives and social activities.
What should you bring along?
- You’ll be studying towards a bachelor’s degree, with a predicted grade of 2:1 or higher in a relevant field such as (but not limited to) Communications, Business Management or Marketing.
- Relevant work experience and a genuine interest in communications. This could include contributing to a university newsletter or social media account, supporting charity or student events, or creating and editing video content.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong written English, with a passion for writing and attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
