Quality Management Parts & Steering, Interior and Exterior Spring Intern 2027
Description:Support department wide steering & communication. Implementation of project and initiatives to support continuous improvement.
The qualified intern/co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:Assist the project specialist on critical on-going projects and upcoming milestones.Assist on supply chain topics with regards the sub-component stock tracking and crisis management on critical component shortagesSpecial scopes on specific supplier topics as defined by the Hiring manager and the assignment supervisorManage department wide communication landscapePerforms other duties as assigned by management.Manage communication landscape & implement improvements.Organization and coordination of project milestones and project events.Creation and implementation of reporting structures for current and upcoming projects.Implementation of AI technology, digitalization and automation department wide.OEE and value stream data collection system to be implemented at the suppliersProblem solving methodology (8D) to solve recurrent quality topics with a specific supplier.
Qualifications:Enrolled in college program with major in business admin, engineering, supply chain or similar preferred.MS office, advanced excel, PowerpointGood organizational and project management skillsGood communication skills and analytical, solution-oriented mindsetExperience working in teams or leading groups of peopleAssignment qualifications from JFDSPossess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.THE WORK TERM DATES ARE January 11– May 14 2027.
