BMW Bank of North America, LLC, a subsidiary of BMW Financial Services NA, LLC, opened in 1999 in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is an industrial bank that provides in-house banking services to BMW and MINI customers, dealerships, and affiliates, including direct and indirect automotive retail installment contracts and credit card services. WHAT AWAITS YOU.
- Monitors US debt capital markets as well as economic and political environment.
- Coordinate and approve execution of debt market activities.
- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and funds available for investment.
- Ensure Bank is sufficiently and appropriately funded with approved instruments, structure, maturities, and cost effective pricing to meet ongoing operational requirements.
- Manage interest rate risk/return and ensure exposures are within Bank policy limits and guidelines.
- Establish and maintain sound liquidity management through primary, secondary and backup lines of credit.
- Identify and recommend potential future sources of funding to ensure the Bank has an appropriate level of diversification.
- Manage investment portfolio and identify investment alternatives. Provide recommendations for potential sale and purchase of investments.
- Ensure Bank meets CRA investment requirements.
- Manage and oversee Treasury operations activities to include wire transfer activities, front, middle and back office activities for short and medium-term debt trading, short-term investments, cash flow forecasting, reporting and G/L entries.
- Monitor the activities of third parties handling outsourced treasury functions.
- Develop and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or certifications with a preferred concentration in Corporate Finance/Treasury/ALM/Financial Markets: preferred
- 7 plus years of BMW Group/FS and/or Financial Services Industry experience.
- 5 or more years of Treasury/Cash Management/ALM experience or capital markets experience
- Preferred:
- 3 plus years of Risk Management or Risk Controlling experience
- 3 plus years of experience with regulatory agencies such as FDIC or similar
- 3 plus years of supervisory experience
The expected salary range for this position is $94,600.00 - $175,000.
The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
