Description:
The key objectives of this position are to further innovation development at BMW with a focus on a digitalization strategy. The strategy focuses on Generative AI & Data, Robotics & Automation, and Virtualization. The position also may utilize analytical, statistical and programing skills to discover insights from structured and unstructured data to help shape or meet specific business needs and goals.
The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Leading and facilitating activities or projects.
- Project management and status reporting to ensure the expected results are delivered.
- Sharing learned knowledge and experience with others who are growing their competencies.
- Assists cross-functional departments with processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Generative AI – Prompt Engineering
- Robotics & Automation: Project Management and technical support
- Virtualization: Evaluate and determine best services, equipment, software for the future.
- Prepare and gain confidence and competence to deliver related training content.
- Prepare and gain confident to offer subject-matter consultation.
Qualifications:
- Preferred degree in Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven project management and organizational skills.

- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
