PURCHASING TRAINEE

BMW MEXICO 

The Indirect Purchasing Trainee plays a key role within the Supply Purchasing Indirect services area in BMW Group, contributing to the fulfillment of the company's purchasing policy and business objectives. In this role, you will meet the diverse procurement and service needs of various internal stakeholders. The position combines commercial negotiation, legal contract validation, and proactive supplier management to ensure competitive commercial conditions, monitor operational performance, and strictly align all procedures with BMW quality and standards.

WHAT AWAITS YOU? 

• Negotiate with national and international suppliers products and services, guaranteeing the best option in the market and the best prices.
• Keep communication with the central responsible to guarantee the requirements for the ISO 9001 certification.
• Attend the communication with the region in order to harmonize the protocols and to be align with the BMW quality standards.
• Validate commercial terms and conditions when the legal contract elaboration takes place. Maintain updated the validity of the frames and legal agreements.

 WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ALONG? 

• Bachelor in Bilingual International Business, Economics or similar.
• At least 1 years of experience in Purchasing.
• Proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
• Proficiency in English.
• Basic knowledge of project management, negotiation and data analytics.
