Credit Technician (f/m/x):
This role is responsible for providing back-office support for credit decisions within the assigned authority levels, ensuring the quality of the decision-making process, proper documentation, and compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the leasing business. In addition, it contributes to local operational credit coordination, risk monitoring, and the prevention and early detection of fraud.
About the role:
- Prepare high-quality credit proposals for a wide variety of clients and groups, handling non-routine and complex analytical situations and identifying the key factors that impact creditworthiness within each sector.
- Perform financial analysis with a strong understanding of financial statements, cash-flow modelling, debt service capacity, and accounting concepts, applying benchmarking and Credit Review best practices.
- Ensure that each credit assessment is aligned with AL-ES instructions and processes, always verifying compliance with international and local guidelines (Compliance).
- Identify and report fraud cases, systematically applying preventive measures and controls throughout the decision-making process.
- Work under time pressure with a strong focus on deadlines and SLAs, actively managing the workload pipeline to ensure the correct and timely completion of assigned proposals.
- Handle queries from Sales Representatives and other internal and external partners with differing interests, communicating complex concepts transparently and providing support for credit committees, approvals, and annual reviews.
About the profile:
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field. In the case of internal promotion, proven knowledge and experience within the company will be taken into account.
- 2–3 years of experience in credit departments and/or risk analysis is valued, with exposure to financial analysis and creditworthiness assessment.
- Customer and process-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines/SLAs, and manage concurrent demands and changing priorities in a high-workload environment.
- Analytical skills and results orientation (continuous improvement), a good level of English and command of the local language, along with communication skills (oral and written), presentation, organization and time management, networking, negotiation, and conflict management.
