Your mission is to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant Accounts Payable operations while supporting continuous improvement across financial processes and systems.

• Execute and oversee Accounts Payable operations, ensuring financial transactions are accurate, complete, and recorded on time.
• Perform detailed account analysis and reconciliation of AP accounts, ensuring balances are current and resolving aged or outstanding items.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and BMW Group reporting requirements.
• Prepare and analyze AP-related reports and KPIs, identifying variances, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure timely processing and posting of invoices, improving batch processing efficiency and invoice throughput.
• Drive improvements in GR/IR clearing processes, ensuring proper resolution of discrepancies between goods receipts and invoices.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations with BMW Group entities, resolving differences in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor and support accounting-related IT systems (e.g., SPIDER, PAC-Provider, STARD, SRM), ensuring correct functionality and data integrity.
• Maintain accurate vendor master data, ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements, supporting internal and external audits.
• Document and continuously improve Accounts Payable processes and procedures, driving efficiency and standardization.
• Evaluate operational performance using metrics and reporting tools, identifying risks and opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth invoice processing and issue resolution.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on AP performance, aging, and process improvements.

 

What should you bring along?

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting Operations, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, invoice processing, reconciliations, and closing activities.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial tools.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and financial data.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with GR/IR, intercompany accounting, and audit support is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in English.
