As a PLC Specialist at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you will be responsible for the production-related support of all control technology scopes of our production systems in the Assembly.
What awaits you?
Work environment – a highly automated production area equipped with robots, PLC controls, which our team sets up, operates, and maintains to ensure the required quality.
Team – you will join our interdisciplinary team in the Assembly.
System Optimization & Fault Elimination – you support operations in long-term fault elimination and lead projects aimed at improving system availability, safety, and efficiency.
Project Execution – you ensure the timely delivery of production area projects (modifications, optimizations, and replacements) while managing suppliers within a standard project management framework.
Problem Solving - you coordinate all on-site control systems and assist suppliers with emerging technical issues.
IT System Support - you utilize various production-related IT systems in your daily routine.
Strategic Planning - you apply electrical standards and contribute to the development of new control technologies and systems up to series production.
Administration - you prepare inquiry and RFP (Request for Proposal) documents to round off your scope of work.
What should you bring along?
Education background - vocational/high-school degree in a relevant field (electrical, electronics); university degree would be an advantage.
Work experience – Minimum 2 years of experiences in the commissioning of PLC controls.
Technical knowledge - knowledge of drive, control and automation technology, PLC programming, S7 Classic and TIA Portal, SEW and SINAMICS drive technology. Advanced knowledge of creating/editing visualizations in WinCC, network technology and bus systems (Ethernet, ProfiNet) and knowledge of Kuka robot programming.
Language skills - communicational level of English and Hungarian is needed, German would be an advantage.
Work schedule - willingness to work in two rotating shifts (06:00-15:00, 15:00-24:00).
Soft skills - team spirit and joy to working independently or in a structured manner. Proactivity and good analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
